Step by Step

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  • 60g Dragon Welsh Salted Butter 
  • 60g Plain flour 
  • 1tsp ground mustard powder 
  • 1tsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 120ml whole milk 
  • 400g Cavern Platinum
  • Black pepper, to season 
  • Bread, apple slices, crudites or bacon to serve   

RECIPE DIRECTIONS

  1. In a small sauce pan melt the butter.  
  2. Stir in the flour, mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.  
  3. Slowly add milk.  
  4. Bring to boil, and cook for 2 minutes until thickened. 
  5. Reduce the heat, add the cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.  
  6. Transfer to a fondue pot or slow cooker; keep warm.
  7. Serve with bread, apple slices, crudites or bacon.
