RECIPE INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Edwards of Conwy Beef Burgers
  • 4 Braces Tiger Rolls
  • 4 slices Dragon Mature Cheddar
  • 4 tsp Dragon Sundried Tomato and Garlic Chutney
  • 4 Little Gem Lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced into rings
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

RECIPE DIRECTIONS

  1. Prep the Veggies:
  • Slice the tomato into thick rounds.
  • Peel and slice the onion into rings.
  • Rinse and pat dry the Little Gem lettuce
  • Lightly brush the onion rings with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  1. Fire Up the BBQ:
  • Get your BBQ to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the beef burgers for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (juices run clear or internal temp hits ~70°C).
  • In the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of Dragon Cheddar on each burger to melt.
  1. Toast the Rolls:
  • Slice the Tiger Rolls in half and lightly toast them cut-side down on the BBQ for about 30–60 seconds.
  1. Grill the Onions (Optional but Recommended):
  • Grill the onion rings until lightly charred and soft, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  1. Assemble the Burger:
  • Spread 1 tsp of Dragon Sundried Tomato & Garlic Chutney on the bottom half of each roll.
  • Add a lettuce leaf, then place the cheddar-topped burger on top.
  • Add a slice of tomato, a few grilled onion rings, and cover with the top bun.

Serving Tip:

Serve with a side of crisps or grilled corn on the cob, and enjoy with a cold drink in the sunshine!
