Dragon Dairy’s Summer Success: Cavern Ruby Wins Big at the Royal Welsh Show

We’ve finally enjoyed some sunny weather over the last few weeks, and here at Dragon, we’ve been busy attending the Summer Shows. These events aren’t just an opportunity for us to sell our cheese; they’re also a chance to showcase our products in the dairy classes, and this year has been no exception!

One of the highlights of the Welsh agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show, took place a few weeks ago. We attend the Royal Welsh every year with a place in the food hall and a van full of our finest cheese entries. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that we won Best Regional Cheese with our Cavern Ruby, a Cavern Aged Welsh Red Leicester. Since its launch last year, this cheese has become incredibly popular and is a firm favourite among our team.

Cavern Ruby is the perfect addition to any cheeseboard or charcuterie board as you entertain over the summer months.
